Changsha Happy Street Dry Musical Fountain(2018)
Located next to the Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town in Wangcheng District, Changsha, the core square of the Happy Street commercial district is a key cultural and tourism supporting landscape project. Covering an area of approximately 800 square meters, it is one of the largest dry-type musical fountains in western Changsha.
Design Highlights:
- Core Functions:The fountain serves multiple purposes, including attracting commercial visitors, showcasing cultural elements, and providing recreational space for citizens. It becomes a key attraction for the area during holidays.
Technical Specifications:
- Dry-type structural design:The fountain features concealed, sunken nozzles, keeping the plaza surface flat under normal conditions and usable as a public activity space. When activated, the nozzles rise from the ground, reaching a maximum water spray height of 15 meters.
- Intelligent control system: Equipped with domestically leading variable frequency speed control technology, it can achieve 128 different water pattern combinations. A rainwater harvesting system is also used, with 80% of the fountain’s water usage coming from the street’s rainwater collection facilities.
