Qiandao Lake Xiushui Square Musical Fountain(2019)
Located in the core lake area south of Xiushui Square in Qiandao Lake Town, Chunan County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, it is a key scenic spot in the Qiandao Lake night tourism economic belt. In 2020, it became a technologically advanced lake-based composite musical fountain in East China. The main performance area of the fountain is approximately 3,200 square meters, with a longitudinal performance depth of 120 meters and a lateral coverage of 80 meters across the lake surface. The main nozzles can spray water up to 100 meters high, creating the iconic “Jade Pillar Reaching the Sky” landscape.
Design Highlights:
- Dual Use of One Lake: Promoting a “daytime lake tour + nighttime fountain viewing” cultural tourism model for Qiandao Lake, boosting local consumption and enhancing the visitor experience.
- City Image and Brand Communication: It has become a core visual symbol for Qiandao Lake’s external promotion, appearing on CCTV’s “News Broadcast” and “Beautiful China” programs, with an average of over 500 media exposures annually.
Technical Specifications:
- Visual Impact: A single air-blast nozzle can instantly spray 1-2 cubic meters of water to a height of 30-50 meters, forming an umbrella-shaped water spray with a diameter of 1-2 meters, creating a visually stunning effect.
- Easy Maintenance: The air-blast nozzles have no underwater rotating parts, making them less prone to debris entanglement and requiring less frequent routine maintenance.
- Equipped with 48 modular air-blast nozzles, evenly distributed at the front of the performance area, these nozzles are primarily used to complement rousing musical segments, creating core performance scenes such as “bursting fountains” and “surging waves,” forming a layered three-dimensional performance space with the 100-meter main jet and swaying water curtain.
